On Channel 9 Lights! Camera! Action! Yes, you read it right. On Wednesday, February 3 at 6:30 am, Phillip Deal and Dr. Susan Speraw will be guests on WTVC, Channel 9's morning show with Don Welch (set your VCR if you like to sleep in). On Thursday, February 4 at 10:30 am, Cindy Marshall and Dr. Speraw will be guests on the News for Women show with Marcia Kling and Melydia Clewell, on WTVC, Channel 9. Dr. Speraw, Cindy and Phil will be talking about the signs and symptoms of Autism and general information about our F.E.A.T-Chattanooga group.

STEP Workshop A Parent's Introduction to Special Education This workshop is designed for parents of children in special education and parents of children that might need special education. The emphasis will be to help the parents develop the parent-school partnership that is so important to obtaining an appropriate education for their child. Come and learn about your part in your child's special education, including your role in the development of an appropriate education plan (IEP) and your rights. You will receive a copy of the IDEA Amendments of 1997, the new State IEP form, and information on how to use them to get the educational services your child needs.
